Programmer on FAA Enroute Air Traffic Control System, First IBM
Time-sharing Multiprocessor/Multiprogramming system, Retail Banking
Systems. - 1964: Callsign changed to W2FPG - 1967: Married Andrea
Patryk (Andy). - 1971: Daughter Gillian born. - 1974: Son Brad born.
- 1974: Upgraded to Extra Class - 1976: Changed Call to K2SD
during brief FCC Vanity Program - 1979: Transferred with IBM to
Charlotte, NC. Continued programming career until 1984 - then
managed various programming projects until 1993. - 1993: Retired
under incentive program from IBM. Made me an offer I couldn't refuse!
- 1996: Moved to the Northwestern North Carolina Mountains near
Boone, NC. Live atop a small (3500') mountain with great views. Has
turned out to be a pretty good HF location as well. - 1997: Went back
to work as a System Administrator for a 200+ network of PC's.
Retired
again in 2004,
